“Creating a meal Together” is about making something that is mundane, routine, or sometimes even dreaded be such a sweet and simple moment to cherish. Cooking is full of creativity but so is just the idea of planning dinner, and then making it. All the language around food is extremely creative: making, whipping, sautéing, folding, flipping, checking, frosting, decorating, etc. Anyone who says, “I am not creative.” and has ever cooked a meal, is wrong. Cooking, and making go hand and hand and even though it can be mundane it is still a precious liminal moment to stop and appreciate.
